First day of Classes!

Hola!

Unfortunately I was placed in the intermediate class for language but I got it switched today so I'm in the advanced classes! But I am getting ahead myself.
I went to my first class at 9am this morning and it was my 2 hour long language class. The first hour was spent getting to know eachother and doing icebreakers, which are pretty useless to me now because I'm not in that class any more. The second hour was spent going over past tenses that I have learned in every single Spanish class since high school. My next class was contemporary history of Spain. We just briefly talked about the history of Spain before the 1900s in order to catch up. Then I had Spanish Literature and that was a lot more boring than I thought it was going to be. My favorite class so far is Spanish Culture. It seems like a pretty chill class but very interesting. I'm very glad I decided to take it.

Dana and I walked back to the apartment and got lunch. After a siesta I went to the ISA office to switch my class to advanced and then went to buy towels. I assumed towels would be provided to me but I was wrong. Our apartment is right above a market so we went down there and bought snacks since there are six hours between meals here.

Tomorrow I get to go to my new language class and see if my other classes get more interesting. I'm also going to meet a friend from Davis for ice cream after lunch. I'll let you know how it goes! Good night all!
