Santander!

Hello from the beach!

So today I went to Santander! You should wiki it, it’s very beautiful. But, I get ahead of myself. I should start at the beginning.

Class was boring and I have homework to do this weekend. Booo!

Then I super power walked home and threw a bunch of clothes in my backpack, ran upstairs and gulped down my lunch (French fries, a fried egg, and two pieces of pork) and then ran back downstairs to finish packing and leave.

The bus stop is on the opposite side of the city, so about a 20 minute walk, and we power walked there, too. The bus ride was fairly uneventful, I was just excited that my host mom made me three sandwiches for the trip! Otherwise, we just watched this movie, Gordos, and were about halfway through G.I. Joe before we got here.

It was still pretty light out even though it was about 9 in the evening, so we went and walked around near the beach for a couple hours. Eventually we got ice cream. I decided to be adventurous and try this flavor avellana, it ended up being hazelnut, which is not my favorite ice cream flavor I discovered. Then we walked down to the beach and I stood there with my feet getting washed by the waves and staring out to sea. It is very beautiful here and the water isn’t that cold. I’ll upload pictures soon.
